*Ruth Gómez*

Moving images

Ruth Gomez’s work is sensitive to quotidian scenes and is close in time. She proposes animated stories that reflect, on one hand about human nature, and on the other about forms of evasion through fantasy.
It is an extension of her own experience that could be ours, resulting sometimes in shared projections where reality and fiction intertwine.
Her images – characterized by dynamism and her personal use of color – are influenced by classical drawing, pop art and Japanese anime.

ANIMAL / Valencia > Alicante > Villena

.
Animal is a document in favour of the rights of animals. A protest exhibition that works so that the anthropocentric vision gives way to diversity. The show does not want the speciesism to catalog others because this implies an unjust and painful world for nonhuman and human animals. Bringing together 148 artists and activists internationally and joining their work they have raised their voices to create a unique exhibition where dialogue and commitment predominate. See more.
